Jerseys cows
Jerseys cows
Made up exclusively of Jersey cows, our herd has about 60 subjects, with roughly 35 of them lactating.

Smaller than many other breeds of cattle, the jersey needs 20 percent less space than a larger cow when mature. Emitting less methane (a greenhouse gas 23 times more harmful than CO2, according to Futura sciences) than other cattle breeds, it is also more environmentally friendly.
A robust animal, the Jersey cow adapts well to the Québec climate and to all environments.

Genetic and quality
Since 2013 the herd genetics have been optimized. Milk production as a result has enjoyed superior performance, and the better-quality protein content in the milk has increased. Which is what allows us to produce cheeses of impeccable quality!
